World book day Thursday 4th March.
What shall we do to mark the occasion?

Children bring in their favourite books and choose where they would like them read. World Book Day is ultimately about enjoying and celebrating and loving books. You do that every day.
There’s a great series from the Oregon symphony orchestra where musicians from the orchestra play a soundtrack to a book of their choice. I enjoyed it.
Pick 2 or 3 (short) books you know will go down well, & hide them (possibly wrapped up - give kids a clue where to find them - and you read aloud something from 'the book behind the flowerpot' or 'the book in the bush' . . .
Who can build the best reading den?
The road outside preschool is totally closed all week (planned work delayed due to bad weather)
Please park before you get to the street and walk along.
We’d love to avoid lots of cars turning round and traffic at the times people walk in and out of school wherever possible. ... See MoreSee Less

Because of the weather conditions and the covid lockdown please only attend if it’s safe to travel and childcare is essential.
We’ll update in the morning when we know how the roads are and which staff are safely able to travel. ... See MoreSee Less
