From September 2025 our fees will be changing (please see this letter from the committee for further information).
Hourly rates (from September 2025):
Children under 3yrs: £8.00 per hour
Children over 3yrs: £6.50 per hour
Fees for regular weekly hours (8.30am-4.00pm) are charged termly in advance.
Fees are payable regardless of absenteeism and holidays taken in term-time. If you choose to drop off your child late, or pick up early from a session, you are still liable to pay for the full session. A half term’s written notice is required for withdrawing your child from RMOP.
We sometimes have spaces for ‘one off’ extra sessions. If your child attends an extra session you will be invoiced at the end of the term.
We only accept invoice payments via BACS. All payment information is on the invoice you will receive. We are registered with the Government Tax Free Childcare scheme and also accept employer childcare vouchers (both can be paid directly to us via BACS). We are happy to take payment in instalments, providing this has been arranged with us in advance. You can contact our Admin Team via email for more information about anything relating to invoices and payments (admin@rmop.co.uk).
Late collection charges
All children MUST be collected on time. We ask parents to arrive 5 minutes before the end of session in order that children leave the preschool on time. If you think you might be late you should contact us as soon as possible.
Late collections result in increased staff costs therefore, if you are late in collecting your child you may be charged.
Up to 5 minutes late – £5 charge
6 to 10 minutes late – £10 charge
11 minutes or more – Additional £1 per minute charge for each additional minute

*Please see below for a note about the voluntary ‘snack’ contribution on all invoices
We ask for a voluntary contribution towards ‘snack’ for each day that your child attends. The suggested amount per day depends on the length of time your child attends (see above table).
*A note about the voluntary ‘snack’ donation on all invoices:
This is a historical term that doesn’t really explain that your contribution isn’t just for all the food that hungry children devour. It also helps fund cooking ingredients, trips offsite, additional Forest School resources and our hygiene supplies (wipes, gloves, nappy bags, spare nappies/pull ups) therefore we appreciate any and all donations.
Click here for more information including our sample snack menu.
The total suggested donation is detailed on your termly invoice. We ask that if you choose to make a contribution, that you make the payment via BACS at your convenience. Please ensure you include a payment reference when paying.
If you need to change your sessions, you must give adequate notice (see our Terms and Conditions for more information).
Your requested sessions will be reviewed each term by the Leader prior to the headcount date each term and if you choose to change them you will be asked to complete a new childcare agreement form. You can download this by clicking below or request a paper copy from a member of staff.
RMOP CHILDCARE AGREEMENT AND SESSIONS REQUIRED FORM
The Government funds 15 hours of childcare per week for ALL 3 year olds, starting in the term following their third birthday. Some families are eligible for an additional 15 hours (30 hours total). This can be split across more than one childcare provider. The Government also provides 15 hours funding per week for some 2 year olds.
